What are Besjaar Replacement Filters?
It's a refill set with two filter cartridges. Each cartridge filters the water in eight stages, using calcium sulfite, maifan stone and ceramic balls, among other things. The filter catches some of the limescale and other impurities before the water leaves your shower head. It works in hot and cold water.

Which shower heads do they fit?
The replacement filters fit the Besjaar Shower Head with Filter with 10 settings. That head comes both as the Shower Head with Filter on its own and in the complete set with hose. They don't fit other brands' shower heads.
How long does a filter last?
Each filter lasts 3 to 5 months. Exactly how long depends on how often you shower, how many people use it and how hard your water is. So two filters keep you going for up to ten months. See how hard your water is in water hardness by province.
You'll notice when it's time:
- The spray gets slightly weaker.
- More limescale appears in your nozzles or on your shower screen again.
Tip: put the date you fit a new filter in your calendar. Then you don't have to remember it.
How to change the filter
- Unscrew the shower head from the hose.
- Take out the old filter.
- Insert the new filter and check that it's seated properly.
- Screw the shower head back onto the hose hand-tight and let the water run for a moment.
No tools needed. Put the old filter in general waste, unless your local council says otherwise.
